Interested in selling on Pips 'n Chicks Auctions?

We do our best to keep our sellers coming back. We don't want to make things complicated. Anyone can sign up for a seller's account, and anyone can apply for a consignment. It does not cost anything to be a seller or consign items, nor do we need your credit card or banking information.

Click here to create an account:

Once logged in, click your image and select "consign an item" to apply for consignment.

How it works

We keep it simple. Sign up for a seller's account - it allows us to keep all of your information in one place. Then click on the "Consign an Item" button above. It will take you to a form with standard information, like what you want to sell and general descriptions. You can fill out this form for as many different lots as you'd like.

Once you have filled out the form, we will reach out within 3-5 business days to let you know if your lot has been approved. We don't always approve every lot, so if you don't get approved, don't hesitate to apply again. We may have hit our cap for the month, or we may already have a lot consigned that is similar.

If your lot gets approved, congratulations! Most of your work is done. If you selected "yes" for us to make some graphics, we'll use the photos you uploaded to make some fun "shareables" to publish to social media. We start the auctions at 8:00 AM on the first of the month, and they'll automatically close on the designated day. Watch our social media pages to see the promotions and updates as we go.

When the auction is over, we will reach out to you with a shipping address to mail out the lot to and the final bid price. You're expected to mail out the items within 5 days of the auction closing. Once you mail it out, send us the shipping number and wait for the end of the month! We will send out a check by the 30th of each month with your total payout, and a breakdown of everything sold. You will get 90% of the final bid price for each auction.

What if I can't fill the order?

We want you to only consign items you know you can fill, but we also understand life happens. If you find that you've counted your chicks before you hatch, let us know right away. You'll just owe the 10% comission to Pips 'n Chicks if you cancel after the auction closes.

Why limit the auctions?

We strive to list top quality poultry that people want to buy. By limiting auctions, we keep interest high so sellers can keep it worthwhile. Lots that are submitted early with good pictures, proven quality birds are more likely to be chosen.

Where does the other 10% go?

Pips 'n Chicks takes 10% commission on sales. Most of that goes back into the community, graphic design, and general costs to keep the site up and running smoothly. If enough sellers consign, we will look at lowering the commission rates for dedicated sellers.

What can i all sell?

We are poultry focused. Any species that falls under NPIP regulations is allowed to be sold. We give preference to live birds and hatching eggs, as well as birds from show quality stock or interesting purebreds. Usually, barnyard mix and supplies will not be selected for consignment.
