Description:

  • Used for all partridge, autosomal pencilling, and spangling

  • Roosters will have black shafting therough the hackles, but will otherwise look BBR

  • Same with hens, though the shafting can be covered or broughout out with dilutes

  • No salmon breast like the Duckwings

  • Often also used for black where the shanks need to be yellow or white

  • Chicks will be brown through the back with a lighter face and less prominant striping, often lighter stomach color

    • Females a touch darker than males, but hard to reliably sex

    • Pencilling in Wyandottes or Brahmas

    • Silkies

    • GL, Gold spangled, and Autosomal Barring
