PROJECTS
These are a list of a few of the current projects I am working on, from breeding programs to research with the USDA. All animal research operates under IACUC and CITI approved protocols from UW River Falls. We are pullorum tested, typhoid free, and follow handling procedures set forth by the USDA and Beef Quality Assurance program. All technology is property of Pips 'n Chicks unless otherwise listed.

This compact egg sorting system brings commercial-grade accuracy to small farms. A Micro:bit-powered sensor suite measures each egg’s weight, length, and height as they move through a single-file conveyor, then a servo-driven diverter sorts them into uniform or irregular categories. All data is logged automatically, giving farmers faster, more accurate grading with less breakage and wasted time.
