Description:

  • Similar to Blue

  • Only affects Black pigment

  • Dominant white locus

  • "pure breeding grey"

  • Found in Dr. Okimoto's line at MSU

  • Grey chick down

  • Roosters had darker hackles and saddle feathers, like ANdalusian

  • At least incomplete dominant, homozygous will be slightly darker but still blue

    • Dominant to dominant white

    • Recessive to wildtype, at least in adult plumage.

      • Chicks will look slightly different
