Get your pencils out for another March Madness bracket--this one for poultry!
I've got 32 different birds, across 12 breeds that will go against each other. There are eight each of waterfowl, bantam, largefowl, and quail. One pairing will be posted each day, and the bird closer to the standard will advance in the bracket. You get to practice being the judge and see if your evaluation skills are on par with a few different APA judges, including Brian Decker and Robert Anderson. Comments will be open on the posts both here and on Facebook: the more in-depth you can get with your explanations, the better. Reasonings from different participants will also be highlighted, along with judge's choice each morning around 8:00 AM EST.
Send us your bracket with your full placings and guesses after the first round of eliminations (Day 16), and those closest to the judge's bracket will be acknowledged during the showmanship portion of the virtual show. Everyone is able to participate, there is no cost to enter, and all of the posts will be open for comments and thoughts--the more, the merrier! If you would like a .pdf version of the bracket below, please comment below, email me at pipsnchicks@gmail.com, or send me a message through the Chat button.
Thanks for participating, I'm excited to see and hear everyone's evaluations!
