One copy of the Blue allele (Bl/bl+) dilutes black-based plumage to slate-blue. Pea comb (P), beard-and-muffs (Mb) and the blue eggshell trait (O) are separate characteristic Ameraucana traits. The underlying E-locus background is not known from this photograph alone.
