Buttercup

Buttercups have a complex gold and black feather background. Some bantam exhibition lists describe a Barred Buttercup variety, but a specific barring allele and dosage should not be inferred without breeding evidence. The unusual cup-shaped comb is a distinct morphological trait and should not be represented as one proved single-locus genotype.
